Mia

About

Background

Growing up in Portsmouth, Mia was an average child in most regards, the only place where she really excelled was her social life. She was born with a certain charisma that others generally couldn't quite grasp. Even her appearance was slightly off in the smallest ways that no one could explain, that is not to say that she looked bad, on the contrary, she was commonly described as beautiful.

When she became a teenager she started to notice even more differences between her peers and herself. On days that she was feeling particularly emotional she would notice her hair changing it's colour. To her parents this just looked like normal teenage behavior, particularly for a girl as into fashion as their daughter, they only ever assumed she loved dying her hair.

As a young adult Mia attended the local university to study communications as this had always been her strong suit. During this time she also noticed she had some sort of power that let her make small flames and change the taste of things which turned out to be great party tricks and made her pretty popular around the bar at partiesᵖʳᵉˢ.

After graduation Mia had no big ambitions yet, and seeing as her family was relatively well off and didn't need her to start working immediately, she decided to take a gap-year to experience the world.

Friends and Family

Mia grew up living with her parents on the edge of town, she never met any of her other relatives and didn't know a lot about them either.

During her time attending school Mia ended up making a lot of connections with people from out of town who came to Portsmouth for their education. One of those people was Zisha. Mia and Zisha quickly became friends and they would talk for hours every day about everything and nothing, however one of the subjects that particularly interested Mia was about Zisha's Uncle. Zisha always talked about how he lived in a far off place where people from lots of different races lived together and how he would always send home the most amazing things not found on their own continent.
